Help With Repairs for Low-Income Homeowners!
Somos Amigos of Northern New Mexico welcomes inquiries and applications for home repairs from low-income homeowners in Los Alamos and Rio Arriba counties. Please see the list of repairs and improvements that we are generally able to complete. Please fill out an application if you need help with any of the repairs we can help complete.
Our services are only available to homeowners. There is no expectation that the homeowner repay the cost of materials, but there is an expectation that the homeowner assist with the repairs of his/her own home or another home. This assistance can take many forms. Please discuss with the Executive Director if you have questions.
Existing furniture, appliances, landscaping, flooring and other items in the area of the repair will be protected from damage. All construction debris will be cleaned up and hauled away at the end of the project.
